Call for Essays: Global Essay Book Series – Sharing Cross-Cultural Experiences

Do you have a memorable story of studying, teaching, or working outside your country of birth? Whether you are a student, scholar, or faculty member, we want to hear about your unique cross-cultural experiences. Did you participate in study abroad programs, Fulbright exchanges, or faculty exchange initiatives? What were the challenges, lessons, and wonders you encountered? Share your stories of exploring new words, worlds, and perspectives.

  • International Student & Scholar Experience
  • Study Abroad Experience (short or long term)
  • Faculty/Staff International Experience

Join us in celebrating transnational narratives and contributing to the “Global Essay Project,” an initiative by the Association of American Colleges and Universities and STAR Scholars. Help us illuminate the diverse stories of global citizens through this exceptional platform.

Format Requirements:

  • Essay length: 1,000-1,500 words
  • Typed in 12-point, Times New Roman font
  • Double-spaced, 1-inch margins
  • Submitted in Microsoft Word format using the provided template
