Editorial Roles

STAR Scholars Press | Journals & Books

All editorial and advisory appointments are made through invitation or nomination based on scholarly expertise, professional experience, and commitment to academic excellence. Most positions are voluntary and typically appointed for a two-year term, renewable based on mutual interest, contribution, and organizational needs. Selected roles may include modest stipends, publication discounts, professional recognition, or leadership opportunities within STAR Scholars Press and affiliated journals or book series.

A dedicated editorial and production support staff assists all editors, associate editors, and assistant editors throughout the review, communication, copyediting, formatting, and publication process.

To support collaboration and communication, regular editorial support meetings are available Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM EST, where editorial members may join to ask questions, receive technical or editorial assistance, discuss manuscripts, or seek guidance. In addition, two annual Zoom meetings are organized each year for editorial board members, reviewers, advisors, and collaborators to discuss strategic initiatives, publication updates, and future directions.
