Graphic Design and Publishing Fellows
Key Responsibilities:
- Design cover images for academic books, journals, and publications for STAR Scholars Press
- Collaborate with international scholars and participate in virtual projects that elevate the role of art in education.
- Engage with key initiatives such as the Noam Chomsky Global Connections Awards, Global Education For Peace Award, and Millennium Scholars Program.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Interest in graphic design, illustration, and visual arts, particularly in creating cover images for books and academic journals.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and other graphic design tools.
- Interest in academic publishing (books, journals, newsletters, conference events) or related fields.
Preference will be given to college/university faculty members or students, as this position aligns with tenure and promotion or college internship requirements through its emphasis on professional service and global engagement.
Time Commitment:
- Flexible, with an estimated time commitment of 2-3 hours per month for project work, design tasks, and collaborative activities.
