Call for Policy Briefs: AI Policy in Higher Education – Global Institutional Practices

2025-11-21

STAR Scholars Press invites higher education leaders, faculty, researchers, and policymakers to contribute 3–5 page institutional policy briefs for our forthcoming multi-volume series, AI Policy in Higher Education: Global Institutional Practices. This landmark series will document how universities across North America, Asia and the Pacific, Europe/EU, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Latin America and the Caribbean, and Africa are developing and implementing AI policies in teaching, research, student services, data governance, infrastructure, and institutional strategy.

Contributors may focus on policies related to:

  • Student use of AI and academic integrity

  • Faculty teaching, research, and professional development

  • Research ethics and compliance

  • Data governance, privacy, and security

  • AI infrastructure and institutional readiness

  • National or regional AI frameworks

  • Accessibility, equity, and responsible AI practices

We welcome submissions from institutional leaders, AI taskforce members, faculty governance bodies, and policy experts. Each brief will be included in the appropriate regional volume of the series.
