HBCU International Footprint Book Series

The "HBCU International Footprint Book Series" aims to explore and celebrate the global impact and presence of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This series will consist of scholarly works that highlight the contributions of HBCUs in various international contexts, their role in shaping global education, and their influence on international communities. Each volume will focus on different aspects of HBCUs' international engagements, including academic collaborations, cultural exchanges, diaspora studies, and global leadership.

Tentative Suggested Titles in the Series:

  • "Global Reach: The International Influence of HBCUs"
  • "HBCUs Abroad: Shaping Global Education and Culture"
  • "Diaspora Dialogues: HBCUs and the African Diaspora"
  • "Leaders Beyond Borders: HBCUs in International Perspectives"
  • "Collaborative Frontiers: HBCUs and Global Academic Partnerships"
  • “International Exchange: HBCUs as Bridge Builders”

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: April 30, 2024
  • Notification of Acceptance: June 30, 2024
  • Full Manuscript Submission: December 1, 2024
  • Peer Review Process: January - March 2025
  • Final Manuscript Submission: June 1, 2025
