Call papers/essays: International Educational Leadership, Culture, and Psychological Well-Being

2026-08-18

This special issue, International Educational Leadership, Culture, and Psychological Well-Being, invites scholarly contributions that examine how educational leaders support mental health, belonging, resilience, inclusion, and human development across culturally diverse educational settings.

As schools, universities, and educational organizations become increasingly global and multicultural, leaders are called to respond not only to academic and organizational challenges but also to the psychological and emotional needs of students, faculty, staff, and communities. International educational leadership now requires cultural awareness, emotional intelligence, trauma-informed practice, inclusive decision-making, and evidence-based strategies that promote well-being and institutional belonging.

This special issue seeks to bring together research from psychology, education, leadership studies, international education, organizational behavior, counseling, public health, and related fields. We welcome empirical studies, theoretical papers, systematic reviews, case studies, and practice-oriented scholarship that explore the psychological dimensions of leadership in diverse cultural and international contexts.
